Many years ago Kim Basinger came into my shop with her daughter Ireland to get Ireland her first tattoo. While she was waiting, Kim was looking at my posters. She came upon my “Sirens of the Silver Screen” poster and was staring at it pretty hard. After a moment, I said yes you are in it!! She was thrilled! Which I thought was so cool. When the tattoo was over and they were leaving, I gave Kim a copy of the poster.
Well today, years later, Kim’s assistant came into the shop with the copy of the poster I gave Kim years ago. It had been mounted on a foam core board. She told me Kim wanted to ask me if I would please sign it. Plus, she bought two more copies of the print that she wanted signed as gifts, one going to her son!!
Well if you would have told 17 year old Howard that Kim F*ckin Basinger one day would ask him for his autograph, it would have blown his mind up!!!
